The existing room

Our client approached us asking for advice and suggestions on how to open up this room to their lovely backyard. The existing small door and window were old and drafty, and not allowing enough light into the home.

Our solution was to open the entire wall up to an expanse of sliding patio doors!

Shown here is the new opening created, with all structural issues addressed, and the wall ready for installation of the sliding doors.

Shown here is the external view of the new opening. A new sill is in place, and the wall is ready for installation of the new sliding doors. After the doors are installed, the trim and capping will be added, for a complete, professional finish.
